Stage magic - Magic performed on a stage or platform. It is to a larger audience and props employed are larger. Bill may create magic using candles, canes, silks, umbrellas, jumbo cards, boxes, rings and even livestock such as doves, rabbits, ducks and parrots. Often, illusions are also part of a stage show such as 'Sawing a Lady in Half',  the 'Zig Zag Lady'  or the 'Floating Lady'.

Stand-up performances is a specific type of magic which combines magic with the elements of stand-up comedy. Usually, this type of show is highly interactive and includes audience participation. The beauty of this type of show is the'live - on stage'  quality which cannot be experienced through the medium of television.
